Villa delle Sirene

Ustica, one of the most picturesque and authentic volcanic islands in Sicily, from its thick black sands and imposing reefs rises Villa delle Sirene. The first visual landfall coming from Palermo. A true work of architectural art, built on a flourishing cliff, close to Cala Santa Maria. Villa delle Sirene has a singular history; at the end of the 1920s, the ruins were purchased by Commendatore Ercole Gargano, who in his own hand decided to design the renovation in a futurist key, having in mind the idea of a vessel on the sea. And so it was, a white stone ship with its portholes and command tower. As the first structure capable of accommodating visitors and illustrious personalities from the Sicilian scene and beyond, to this day this house, with its special guest quarters, undoubtedly remains a rarity on the island.
Enhanced by the fact that it has been constantly restored, reclaimed and renovated over the years to preserve its uniqueness, it has never feared its close proximity to the sea. Authentic colours and shades of blue, like the island’s sea, envelop the style of the house; harmonious, furnished with exquisite style and attention to detail.

The house has a central core with a colourful and panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, inside a large three-roomed living room, with three double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a well-equipped kitchen suitable for any type of culinary preparation. In the adjoining two-storey building, there is a double bedroom with bathroom without shower, per floor, while on the upper floor there is a further small panoramic terrace. Continuing on to the guest quarters, in the ancillary body, we find 3 double bedrooms all with bathroom with shower/tub

The exclusivity of having considerable outdoor space allows guests to enjoy sensual walks in the midst of unspoilt nature and access to the solarium area by the sea.
