The starter point

Now we suggest to leave the Milazzo village and move to Capo Milazzo. Crossing fields and rural ways, you head North by bicycle or car. Capo Milazzo represents the last thin strip of land, surrounded by sea and covered by green grass. Especially during the sunset, this place make you feel in a natural paradise. You’ll visit the ancient part of Milazzo, a nice center located in a small promontory. There, the entire village is dominated by a majestic castle. This building is an interesting mixture of different styles between Arab, Norman and Spanish. The castle is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 until 08:30 pm. Then, your visit continues in the Muma, the sea museum (Museo del Mare). It is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 untile 06:30 pm.

The ritual bath gives you peaceful and relaxing moments. The sea flow comes into a sea rock perimeter where you can plunge into a still water.
Departures for the Aeolian Islands
The first thing that you’ll see is the Vulcano Island. But, usually, when the sky is totally clear the islands appear all together like in a mirage. The horizon is often a magic intersection between the Aeolian tops and the Calabrian cost. Before you start the Aeolian trip, consult the boat company to know the routes. If you have not much time, you could consider also the daily trip from Milazzo for a boat excursion from 10:00 am until 10 pm. Remember that if you have a car you can also leave your car in a rental garage.
