Erice is an authentic medieval village, described as one of Sicily’s most precious jewels. Known for its altitude and the amazing view it offers over Trapani. The precious handcrafts that are produced here are enviable, such as Erice carpets, Sicilian puppets, fabrics and ceramics, and above all the great care that goes into the sweets, especially the almond paste. Beside the many beautiful churches, the main attraction is the imposing Castle of Venus, with the adjacent panoramic Balio Garden.
