Within the municipality of Calatafimi Segesta, there is Segesta, an archaeological park where you can take a step back in time by walking among the columns of the Doric Temple. Perhaps even more impressive is the ancient theatre of the city of Segesta, built on the mountain Barbaro, which enjoys a magnificent view. It is also possible to attend classical and non-classical operas at the ancient theatre during the summer season.
