Welcome to “La Casa dell’Acqua”, an elegant historic building dating back to 1931 built by Baron Fatta Del Bosco. At the time of construction, this luxurious mansion had a state-of-the-art water system for that period, with a well built inside the farmhouse capable of collecting water from the Imera River, located near the house, then used for irrigating the surrounding fields.
The villa is located near Termini Imerese, about 1.4 km from the Himera archaeological site and the Himera Antiquarium museum. In addition, it is close to a private beach where you can spend the beautiful summer days. Furthermore, the house is close to the highway, which will allow you to easily reach the picturesque village of Cefalù about 20 km away, and the historic city of Palermo about 50 km away.
The Casa dell’Acqua is surrounded by thick Mediterranean vegetation that gives a uniquely relaxing atmosphere. Outside there is a 50×10 meter swimming pool with adjoining solarium. Near the main building, there is a small house with a washing machine, a refrigerator and a BBQ area in the outdoor area. You can also enjoy lunches and dinners outdoors at the table set in the house’s garden.
The house inside has a recently renovated environment characterized by a rustic atmosphere. Entering the ground floor, you will find an open space area. Inside this area, you’ll find the living room furnished with comfortable armchairs, a sofa bed and a dining table. Also, there is a fully-equipped American-style kitchen on the same floor. Finally, going down the stairs, you will access the most characteristic and fascinating house area, namely the ancient well. It has now been transformed into a compost loft that comprises a living area and two double beds. While through the opposite side of the living room, you’ll reach two double bedrooms with an attached bathroom and a third bathroom with a shower.
By staying in this beautiful historic house, you can spend days relaxing in the shaded areas, cool off in the large swimming pool and immerse yourself in the history of this magical place.

Parco delle Madonie
The Madonie park is one of Sicily’s most important historical, cultural and natural heritage sites. Its rocky impact, in contrast to the coastal strip, makes this place unique and allows countless species of fauna and flora to live in protection in a continuous evolution. Even among the highest peaks, there are ancient monasteries, ruins and evidence of dwellings dating back to prehistoric times. This geo park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are various activities to be enjoyed, such as excursions to the Tiberio gorges, walks to sanctuaries and assisted trekking.
Castelbuono is one of the most beautiful villages on the island, thanks to its strategic location and the perfect combination of art and nature. Of Byzantine origin, it has countless priceless historical buildings. Strolling through the streets of the centre, one can see the different types of architecture linked to the change of ethnic groups, and the emerging talent of young artists is highly valued by dedicating special galleries to them. The central square is dominated by the large Old Matrix Church, with its Gothic bell tower, a place of great curiosity. Rising inland and being part of the Madonie Park, the surrounding nature makes the air fresh and pleasant and offers a great quality of life.
Petralia Soprana e Sottana
Located at the foot of the Madonie Park, in the Province of Palermo, are two atypical villages according to Sicilian tourist traditions: Petralia Soprana and Petralia Sottana; mountainous and picturesque villages.Visitable in one day, they offer sensational, bucolic landscapes with numerous pastures. The buildings made entirely of stone, the countless historic churches and the typical narrow streets make these places unique. Having undergone several dominations including Roman, Byzantine, Islamic and Norman, they present a curious and unique aspect of history.
On Mount Barone, with Mount Etna in front, stands Gangi; one of Sicily’s award-winning medieval villages. It is marvellous for the art that rises from its stones and for the narrow streets of the centre enriched by splendid houses with their flowered balconies, a remarkable number of churches and extraordinary historical palaces. Being immersed in nature, it is possible to enjoy it by taking long horseback rides, trekking and excursions to discover a wide variety of fauna and flora.
Parco dei Nebrodi
The Nebrodi Park, a protected natural area in Sicily, not only enjoys a unique and rare landscape, but also offers the possibility of visiting it, exploring it and doing outdoor activities in close contact with a genuine and uncontaminated nature. Its considerable altitude provides a climate that is always cool and harsh during the winters, but its wonders can be visited at any time of year. There are dense forests, lakes, natural waterfalls and incredible panoramic views. The naturalness of this place allows the local fauna to live freely and it is possible to encounter species that are very rare and wanted all over the world.
