Located in the historical heart of Mondello is the Beloved Mansion. An enchanting 20th-century villa, in full Art Nouveau style, it is teeming with history and tradition, its decorative architectural elements singling it out as one of the greatest testimonies of the era. Accessed through a convenient wrought-iron gate, it is possible to park the car inside the villa and admire the well-kept surrounding flowerbeds and make use of the outdoor garden sets. Walking down a small entrance staircase, you can access the interior spaces. To welcome us, a spacious entrance hall leads us to the upper or present floor, which in turn consists of: A comfortable and well-equipped kitchen island with high stools, a service bathroom with shower; This is followed by a large living area with dining table, TV area, all framed by a stunning frescoed ceiling. On the floor there are two double bedrooms, one of which is slightly mint in colour, with a walk-in wardrobe and its marble bathroom with shower; the second, with its intense colours and frescoed ceiling, also has a walk-in wardrobe and convenient access to a small terrace. Taking the stairs, enriched by an elegant boiserie, we reach the upper floor, where we will find a particular mosaic kitchen bar counter, with access to a terrace, which in turn communicates with one of the bedrooms: A luminous double bedroom in earthy colours, with its bathroom, with double washbasin and spacious shower. Continuing on, we find two more double bedrooms, one of which is darker and more elitist in tone, with a bathroom featuring a bathtub and shower; while the second bedroom is blue in colour, with a shiny marble bathroom, also with a double sink and large shower. From this floor, it is possible to access a further level of the villa, the big twist. A dreamy terrace decorated with coloured tiles, enriched by the presence of a comfortable jacuzzi and outdoor sun loungers to enjoy the beautiful sunny days that Sicily offers. The design of the house is very rare and sophisticated. In spite of the modern and innovative intervention, the relationship with elegance and tradition has not been lost, rather it has been enhanced, giving an appearance of timeless luxury. Each area of the house has its own identity and colour scheme, making it stimulating to stay and curious to discover all the rooms.

Cretto di Burri
Il Cretto di Burri is one of the largest and most extraordinary works of land art in Europe, created by Alberto Burri in Sicily, in the province of Trapani, located on Gibellina Vecchia. The latter, razed to the ground after the severe Belice earthquake in 1968, was commemorated by creating this majestic and memorable work of art that is out of the ordinary in its appearance and functionality. The work faithfully replicates the routes of the original plan of the town, so that visitors can walk step by step through the memories of a place now historically lost.
